How to configure NTP on Linux Redhat or Centos

So you want to know how to install and configure NTP on you CentOS Fedora Linux server to synchronize the system clock? You can easily install NTP (Network Time Protocol, a means of transmitting time signals over a computer network) using yum command with Redhat, CentOS or Fedora core Linux.
#1- Login as the root user (duh)
the follow these command to install NTP

[php]# yum install ntp[/php]
[php]# chkconfig ntpd on[/php]
[php]# ntpdate pool.ntp.org[/php]
[php]# /etc/init.d/ntpd start[/php]

Of for a full list of NTP servers
