Took me a minute to figure out how to view photos in a slideshow (or spelled slide show) on Windows 8. Windows 8 royally screwed us all up with their god awful operating system. But if you have a folder of photos you can still view the pics in a slideshow, much like you could in Windows 7.
- When your pics are in a photo library or folder, click the Manage tab; then click the Slide Show icon located along the folder’s top area.
- When viewing a single picture in Windows Photo Viewer, click the round Play Slideshow button located at the folder’s bottom center area.
- Or, in the folder with the pictures, select the Manage tab located in the top ribbon and click Slide show!
